Hornton Grange

We had our wedding reception here in July and we had such a beautiful day. I have to start by thanking Tasmin who we were fortunate enough to have as our wedding coordinator. Nothing was ever too much for her, she was always on hand to help with any queries we had and went above and beyond to ensure the entire process went smoothly for us. Although Tasmin wasn’t present on our wedding day, Jess was there to coordinate the day for us and she had everything in control so we didn’t need to worry about a thing. The venue is just gorgeous and the staff are a real credit to it. If I could do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you for making our wedding day so special! Kim and Daniel x

Thank you EPH! We got married here 20th May, it was amazing! The whole process from start to finish has been incredible. The day went smoothly and the food was delicious. The photos speak for themselves, the whole venue inside and out was perfect for us and we couldn't be happier that we picked Hornton Grange for our special day! Special thanks to the wonderful Laura who coordinated the day from booking all the way up to the day, she was the most helpful person! I couldn't have hoped for anyone better to answers all my questions. No question was ever too silly! Thank you for getting us to our special day so smoothly! We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Hornton Grange, it was absolutely perfect. (Mid-August 2022) The events and weddings coordinator/managers Laura and Tasmin (Edgbaston Park Hotel) helped to guide us through from booking through to the final details. On the day, the primary contact was Ashley and he was incredible. Working non-stop behind the scenes, and keeping the day running exactly to plan. All of the staff were lovely throughout the day. The food was great, served fast, and the air-conditioning the main room was glorious during the heatwave. Rooms above Hornton Grange were lovely, but not air conditioned. Which I am sure is totally fine 99% of the year. Thank you EPH team for facilitating our special day. J&J

Had a really great stay here, we stayed in one of the rooms in one of the older buildings, but it was all modern and extremely well done. The room was spacious with great amenities and the shower was fantastic and the bath looked great and absolutely huge. The staff were all fantastic and responsive to any questions. Parking was included which was great. Food was really nice, breakfast was included and was great quality and buffet style. There was also the bar and a restaurant so catered to all tastes and was great for a casual dinner and drink. Beautiful setting, easy to find and central, but feels quiet and peaceful. There was a wedding on, and music could be fiantly heard with the window open but stopped at midnight so wasn't an issue at all. Once of the nicest hotels we've stayed in and absolutely fantastic value, I'd stay again when in Birmingham.

We held our wedding reception at Hornton Grange in October 2018 and we had the most amazing day. The venue is perfect for a wedding - Hornton Grange and the grounds are beautiful, the bedrooms in Hornton are exceptionally comfortable and luxurious and the Edgbaston Park Hotel can accommodate the rest of your guests. The staff were really accommodating of our wishes in preparation for the day and the reception ran like clockwork. Nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests commented on not just the quality of the food but also the excellent service. Thanks to the hardwork and foresight of everyone at Hornton Grange on the day. Hornton Grange has only recently re-opened after a major extension to the University's conference facilities and to provide the level of service that they did for us and our guests was a great achievement. We can't recommend this place highly enough. We simply cannot associate the previous review, with the service excellence we received from Hornton Grange and the Edgbaston Park Hotel on the day.
