What Couples Say

Jade Plentya month ago

We had a lovely evening at Goram & Vincent. The setting is beautiful with stunning views, and it felt really special without being stuffy. The food was delicious and well thought out, with great flavours and generous portions. Service was friendly and attentive but relaxed, which made the whole experience even better. Perfect spot for a date night or a treat meal – we’ll definitely be back.

Where do i start, stayed here for valentines after prices came down. Would of been devasted if i payed more. On arrival was greated by the most unfriendy receptionest . Please change jobs. This job is not for you. Girls in the bar were very friendly but it was freezing ,everyone sat in coats waiting for 3pm to come as we were all told . No Early Check In . Paid for a gorge view. But had room 126. No view. Curtains in room were filthy and fit for the bin. Again room was freezing cold. Bed was ok as was bathroom. To be honest proberly the worst one in the chain. The hotel is very grubby and needs new friendly staff. Rang head office. Not intetested. Told to put in a email. Its a no go for ever staying here again. Be warned if you are booking to stay here

Went to the restaurant for lunch on Wednesday. The atmosphere was very pleasant, good taste in lounge music, amazing view of the bridge and excellent food. I ordered the Prawn Cocktail, Lamb Shoulder (which was probably the best lamb I've had, granted though I do not have much experience with lamb) and the pastry and cheese for dessert. I found the meat to be tender and very flavourful. The accompanying gravy and mash was really good too. I did not really enjoy the greens to much though as they were over-salted for my taste buds. Service was more of the "relaxed" kind and the waitresses did not get the drinks order right the first time round. We had ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail and were served one with alcohol. Parking was easy, maybe because it was mid-week. We managed to snag a nice spot a 30 second walk from the hotel on the street. All in all, I enjoyed my lunch and the view is of course incredible.

My partner booked a room as a birthday treat and dinner at the little french. Ok the parking isn't the best but that cant be helped, so the receptionist offered me a free parking permit for the car though and I luckily found a space. Just want to say, we both had a lovely time and the staff were very, very helpful. Definitely will be back

Room was comfortable and the service was adequate. The location was lovely, though parking was quite difficult. Breakfast felt overpriced for what was offered—very basic compared to what you can get in Clifton. Overall, it seemed the focus was more on keeping costs down than on delivering a memorable guest experience.
