Coombe Lodge is an absolutely stunning wedding venue to photograph. Every time I’ve worked here, the day has had this relaxed, welcoming vibe that instantly puts couples and guests at ease. The team are genuinely lovely — professional, warm, and always one step ahead without ever feeling intrusive. You can feel how much they care about every wedding. From a photography point of view, it’s a dream location. The indoor light is soft and flattering, the house has so much character, and the gardens are incredible for natural, candid moments. And the sunsets… honestly, they’re on another level. It’s one of those venues where beautiful moments just unfold everywhere you look. If you’re getting married in Somerset and want a venue that looks stunning, runs smoothly, and feels amazing to spend the day in, Coombe Lodge should definitely be on your list. We enjoyed using Coombe Lodge for our son’s wedding in December ‘25. What an amazing place! The staff could not have been more helpful, in booking the venue, in answering numerous questions in the lead up and to delivering an awesome level of service on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. We decided to dress the venue ourselves and were allowed to deliver our equipment the day before to reduce the stress on the wedding day. Having dressed the place on the morning of the big day, we went on to enjoy an incredibly memorable day in the most beautiful building. The atmosphere was just fantastic. The food? Nothing I can write here will do it justice. It was unbelievably good. How the chefs create that level of quality for 50 people, all delivered at once, is beyond me. I wish they opened as a restaurant as I would never have to consider where to go for a special dinner ever again. The opportunity to hire rooms at the venue was great and allowed us all to have a chill out drink together after the guests had left and before we went on to bed. The breakfast the next morning was fab, and made even better because, without being asked, the staff had used our decorations to dress the breakfast table in the same fashion as our dinner table the night before. What a beautifully thoughtful thing to do. If I was getting married I wouldn’t look anywhere else for my venue.

Coombe lodge was an absolutely stunning venue. But more importantly, the team are so amazing! So friendly, so attentive, and make you feel very relaxed about the whole process. Obviously very few people have any other wedding venue to compare to, but I can't imagine any where else being as incredible as these people were. The food was insanely good, every guest told us how amazing the food was, and how overwhelmingly beautiful the venue is. Such a lovely team. We had such an incredible day! Thank you Coombe Lodge

Choosing Coombe Lodge as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. From our very first visit to the moment we left on our wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds and an elegant interior that provides the most incredible backdrop for a wedding. What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the team. We had the pleasure of working with Charlotte and Izzy, who were both truly amazing. They were so professional, organized, and genuinely lovely to deal with. They made the entire planning process feel stress-free and exciting. On the day, they ensured every detail was taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our friends and family. Their attentiveness and calm presence were invaluable. Also the food was amazing. We highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding! Coombe Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. We can't recommend it highly enough.
