Absolute dream location, there’s honestly no better place to get married than Hamswell House! The grounds are gorgeous, everything went so smoothly, and the whole experience felt seamless. Rupert was wonderful and provided a great list of recommended vendors! It couldn’t have been a more perfect day!

Hamswell House is the dream venue for a wedding. Rupert and the wedding coordinators made sure everything went to plan and guided us when planning the timings for arrival and even supported us in keeping the bride (me) hidden from view. They provide all the information you need on local places to stay, modes of transport, caterers and designers, the lot! The location is stunning and is based in the middle of the Cotswolds which truly makes the day feel magical and makes the event feel intimate with family and friends. Plenty of photo opportunities and space to relax on a very exciting wedding day. You have to book with a separate supplier if you’re having a reception as it is in a marquee but Henry makes this such an easy process. Can’t thank the Hamswell House team enough! Perfect day at the perfect location. We’re waiting on our final photos and will be sure to add them to this review!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Hamswell House. It was the first venue we toured and we fell completely in love. Rupert was communicative and welcoming, and made it easy to know it was the venue for us. The house and grounds allows for wonderful flow from the ceremony on the front lawn, to cocktail hour on the patio and gardens, and reception in the marquee. The backdrop and grounds also mean you have so much natural beauty to work with. All of our guests could not believe the view and told us it felt like a movie. Thank you so much for our dream day!

Hamswell House is genuinely one of the most breathtaking venues we’ve ever photographed. It’s the kind of place that feels grand and impressive – a beautiful mix of history, elegance, and the kind of rolling countryside that just makes your heart do a little skip. The outside of house itself is stunning – full of charm, soft honey-coloured stone, and the most incredible views across the Cotswolds. But what really sets Hamswell apart is the garden. The ceremony took place in the incredible gardens, with sweeping valley views behind it, and honestly? It looked like something out of a dream. The light, the colours, the textures – we barely had to do a thing. It all just worked. From a photography perspective, this place is a total gift. There are tucked-away spots everywhere – stone staircases, ivy-covered walls, that iconic long view down the garden – it’s rich in variety and atmosphere. On film and digital, the colours come out beautifully, especially with golden hour peeking over the hills. We’re still thinking about this wedding and venue months later – and that says it all really. If you’re considering Hamswell House, do it. You’ll be wrapped in beauty from every angle.

He was relaxed and accommodating, allowing us to personalise our wedding exactly as we envisioned.
