Orchardleigh House

A superb wedding venue. Beautiful location and a homely feel. We stayed in the castle the night before my daughter's wedding which was very relaxed and a great place for the bridal party to get together in advance. We then stayed in the main house for the wedding day. The rooms were huge and very traditionally furnished. The food was excellent. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Everything ran smoothly. We had a brilliant time, singing and dancing until the early hours. The wedding package took the stress out of planning the big day. A huge thank you to all the staff for making Mia and Ben's wedding day so special.

I had the absolute pleasure of working at Orchardleigh Estate on Thursday for Philippa and her bridal party, and it was truly a dream. The setting is breathtaking, the staff were wonderful, and everything ran so smoothly. Out of all the weddings I’ve done this year, this was without a doubt one of the best experiences. A truly magical venue that creates the perfect backdrop for a couple’s special day.

Orchardleigh House was the only venue we viewed and we were instantly sold by its beautiful surroundings and the three-day package offered, I felt no alternative local venues compared in their offerings. We visited several times in the lead-up; taking friends to open days, respective parents to the Mother’s Day lunch and of course our food tasting. These experiences along the way just made for a personable touch. Rachel was our fantastic coordinator (photographed handing out our arrival drinks, with itinerary to hand!), who could not be faulted. She was lovely, organised and quick to respond to queries. The day itself ran like clockwork and as a bit of a ‘type-A’ bride I only had to concentrate on having a nice day, as the coordination of vendors and guests was completely taken care of. I can’t stress enough how little I had to worry about on the day! We had intended to have an outdoor ceremony, which had to change to indoor rather last-minute due to rain and we felt this change was easily accommodated, and didn’t lead to disappointment in any way – as photographed the ballroom is an equally beautiful setting. I would recommend hiring a venue stylist (we used Ambience) to help with setting up, as the late access (11.30am) would make it tricky to arrange yourself. Guests had nothing but compliments for the venue, with many commenting on how lovely the grounds were. Overall I would highly recommend Orchardleigh as a wedding venue. Their experience, capability and ease of operation was evident at every step of our wedding journey.

I don’t even know where to start with how incredible our wedding was at Orchardleigh house. What a venue. Literally couldn’t have been more perfect. We were very lucky to have an outdoor ceremony with the amazing views. Annamarie was an absolutely superb coordinator. So helpful in the run up to the wedding nothing was too much trouble. And she helped make everything go smoothly on the day. Also a huge shout out to the supervisor Kim who was also incredible. We are so so happy we got to have our special day here. The 3 day package just makes it that extra special. Being able to have so many guests stay at the venue was a definite selling point for us. And the castle and boathouse were just out of this world. I still feel like it was all a dream. Thanks to all at Orchardleigh for being amazing we are so grateful.

Absolutely breathtaking. Orchardleigh has provided me with undoubtedly the best and most beautiful day of mine and my husbands lives. To start with, the venue, Each guest was amazed by this venue and noted many of them telling me this venue is the best they have ever seen as well as many compliments on how well the day was run. It is a fairytale wedding venue, anyone should be honoured if they get the chance to get married here! Thankyou to our coordinator Annamarie she provided me and Leo so much comfort and her calmness kept each nerve at bay. She was made for her job role and deserves so much credit. Our photographers, thefxworks were amazing, so patient, attentive, genuinely lovely and personable people who were actually a joy to share the day with, they communicated brilliantly all the way up to the day and continued this throughout! Would highly recommend. I have attached one photo below to show the quality. The three day package is highly worth it and I have such beautiful memories I will never ever forget.
