St George's Bristol

Staff were mostly lovely and apart from a lack of places to charge my phone it was a nice venue.. id sat down as the performance was starting so rather than inconvenience everyone in my row I sat in the empty row behind so while id have probably seen everything there was only one point where I stood to see someone singing immediately below us. During the interval it looked at the exhibition which seemed interesting but i didn't get to study maybe as much I'd like. The programme is so diverse and i like that there are so many access routes for the local community ie reduced tickets

So much history and drama in one building – it’s an epic setting. That neoclassical architecture made everything feel grand and cinematic. We loved the ceremony space and the fact that you could photograph above when the ceremony took place. The team there were super helpful too, which always makes a difference.

Went to the Christmas event last night. Huge fun! The venue was beautifully dressed, lots of really helpful and friendly staff, and the Bristol Ensemble with Roger Huckle at the helm made for a very memorable night. We all joined in the singing! 5 stars all round! Also a very well-stocked bar :)

Intimate relaxed venue within a beautiful historic setting. One can book drinks & food platters to nibble at before the event. The shows are generally top quality, we especially enjoy their world music concerts.

We were looking forward to the event, unfortunately, due to circumstances that were outside of our control, we were unable to make the event. I got in touch with the company to let them know (prior to the event) but did not receive a response until a few days after the event, essentially saying there was nothing they could do. We were quite disappointed by the response, as we were looking forward to the show and potentially recommending to family and friends. Based on the experience of the response we received, we are unlikely to visit or recommend.
