The Great Tythe Barn & Tythe House

Our wedding at Great Tythe Barn was everything we hoped for and more. Since we now live abroad, it was the perfect cosy location for us as we were able to stay on-site with many of our guests in the Great Tythe House, cottages, and B&B rooms. This made the entire weekend feel intimate and relaxed, and it was a wonderful way to welcome our traveling guests to the Cotswolds. The accommodation was really comfortable and well equipped, and the orangery in the big house became a lovely central gathering place for our wedding weekend. The team at Great Tythe Barn were outstanding. We mainly worked with Poppy, who made the whole process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Despite planning from abroad, everything felt easy thanks to many video tours, video calls, quick email responses, and a very open-minded approach. Nothing was too much trouble. The team were happy to help us personalise the day, using different parts of the venue and adapting the layout to suit our styling and plans (and even followed the brides very detailed decoration plan to precision!). On the wedding day itself, everything ran effortlessly. Any issues were handled immediately, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without stress. What truly sets Great Tythe Barn apart is the team, even with so many weddings each year, they made us feel genuinely cared for and involved every step of the process. We had our amazing wedding day on October 9th. I honestly cannot recommend highly enough. Poppy was our wedding coordinator and was attentive, trusting and positive from start to finish. No question or request was too much trouble and we were thrilled to have her guiding us throughout the whole process! The venue is stunning, autumn leaves coming through, amazing lights in the evening, it truly feels like a magical wedding village filled with everyone you love. Our guests could not praise the cottages and b&b rooms enough, very comfortable beds, brilliant space and social areas. I would do it all over again if I could, this venue would be perfect in any season with incredibly professional staff who will help you every step of the way. Caitlin and Jonathan 😊

Great Tythe Barn was an amazing venue for our wedding. It is absolutely beautiful, has plenty of space both inside and out, and was perfect for our winter wedding. We loved the fact that us and lots of our guests could stay on site, and this made for a really social atmosphere, and meant we could continue the party in our accommodation even after the bar closed. Also the refurb of the wedding barn and accommodation made the space even nicer, and our guests really enjoyed our Cotswold wedding. The staff were brilliant in the lead-up to our big day, and were really responsive to communication which was so helpful as we had lots of questions. No wonder they have won multiple awards! We got married at the Great Tythe Barn in November 2025 and couldn't recommend the venue more highly! The grounds and venue are beautiful, whilst the on-site accomodation set up was perfect for us, with so many of our guests travelling to be there. Each member of the team was so wonderful and helpful, particularly our main wedding co-ordinator Poppy. Every tiny detail was taken care of, which meant the day ran smoothly and was stress free. We had the best day celebrating and this was largely down to the team, thank you!

We had our wedding here on 1st November and it was absolutely perfect! Tracey, Meg and Jac are a fab team and couldn't do more for us. From the initial wedding planning (sorry if I was a pain - I was a nervous wreck lol) to the actual day, everything went smoothly and it was better than I imagined. You are awesome. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the perfect place for lots of lovely photos. Rooms are beautiful too. Thank you so much for such a wonderful day!
