The Manor at Old Down Estate

A lovely Manor house set inside the old down estate. It is surrounded by lots of trees and beautiful views. The inside looks amazing, and it would be such a lovely place to hold a wedding or an event. You can park here if you are disabled, if you are using the Manor.

Once again I attended a lunch for a group of 80 pensioners, and today's food was outstanding. Thank you very much to the chef and staff who made it such an enjoyable event. Just one suggestion - a few more easy chairs and tables in the reception rooms for our pre dinner coffee would be good.

Where do I start; just coming down from the most amazing day ever, can’t thank everyone at Old Down enough for making our wedding day the most special day we could wish for, the care and attention to detail was outstanding, above and beyond what most venues would do. Zoe, Joey and Alec were incredible and a massive asset to Old Down, cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and for creating amazing memories for us and our friends and family. Forever grateful, thank you so much

Such a stunning venue, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I love working here for bride and grooms and the set up always looks perfect and with the uplighting around the room to enhance the look.

We visited the manor at old down estate for a wedding which by the was epic , the wedding, (which was meticulously planned) was wonderful as were the hosts, location and the staff . I cannot fault our experience. I did read through the reviews about no hot water at the shower which I can only think must be user error. Guests during our visit said the shower in their rooms were cold but as a plumber I can confirm I had hot water in our shower, and I mentioned to other guests about the thermostatic protection on the shower and they didn't understand what I was saying so 100% user error. The room was great with great views and the most comfortable bed we have ever had the pleasure to sleep on .
