Newhall Estate

We had our wedding at Newhall in September and it was absolutely magical. Newhall offers something truly unique compared to other venues in Scotland — the grounds are spectacular, the house feels like the most perfect oversized luxurious Airbnb, and the variety of event spaces means you can be incredibly creative in shaping your wedding weekend. Having the venue for the whole weekend was such a gift. It let us extend the celebrations and really enjoy the estate to the fullest. We held our ceremony in the granary, had our drinks reception and cocktail hour with live music and espresso martinis in the sunroom, dinner and ceilidh in the coach house, and ended the night with a disco back in the granary. On the Friday, we hosted a beautiful intimate rehearsal dinner in the sunroom with our closest friends and family, and on Sunday we had a relaxed, fun-filled day playing capture the flag and even a game of The Traitors in the house! If any of that sounds like your idea of a good time, we couldn’t recommend Newhall highly enough as the most special setting for a wedding weekend — one that gives you memories to last a lifetime. Jak and the team were brilliant throughout the whole journey: always on hand, happy to answer any question (big or small!), open to every idea, and bringing a wonderfully relaxed, friendly approach to the entire experience. We truly couldn’t recommend Newhall enough.

Newhall was the dream venue for our dream wedding in April 2025. It couldn’t have been more of a delight. The staff is excellent (particular shout out to Yvonne), the grounds are magnificent, and everyone had the loveliest time. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

I don’t even know where to start. If I could give a 10 I would. My daughter and son in law held their wedding at the estate and it was absolutely perfect. It was a 3 day event so lots of time for things to go wrong but nothing did. The few bumps that occurred were solved quickly and Jack (owner, manager) was there to help with everything and anything even if it wasn’t related to the estate. Newhall is truly magical on its own but when you add the level of service that was provided there is nothing that can compare. The grounds are absolutely stunning and even if you get lost (which we did) all paths lead back to the estate. The rooms and cottages on the grounds are beautiful, they have local charm but also every modern amenity. The florals and greenery were all grown on the estate and were absolutely stunning. I only hope I can experience this estate again.

Newhall Estate had it all:-comfy bedrooms, good sized kitchen, several lovely sitting rooms. Loads of interesting ornaments and other curios. There was a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of my niece's fabulous wedding weekend.

We knew right away that Newhall was the place we wanted to get married and on our wedding weekend it did not disappoint! From starting our weekend on the Friday evening with 40 of our nearest and dearest staying with us to the wedding day on the Saturday the weekend was amazing from start to finish! The venue and staff were fabulous and no ask for too big! It even snowed on the Saturday which transformed the venue into a winter wonderland! We cannot recommend Newhall enough to other couples planning their wedding… please invite us as we’d love to experience the venue all over again!
