The Counting House

We had our wedding reception here and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The venue was beautifully set up and so well-organised from start to finish. Keira, the supervisor on the night, was absolutely fantastic – friendly, efficient, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We loved that we could use the speakers for our own Spotify playlists, which made the evening feel really personal. The team were so helpful with the planning and decorations, making the whole process stress-free. The food was incredible – we had so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was! Every member of the team was lovely, professional, and accommodating. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough – it was the perfect place to celebrate our special day!

Really lovely venue. Staff are friendly. The space is open, clean and bright. The toilets are a good size and well maintained.

This was the second time we have used this venue for our Senior Student Awards Night. Conor was great to deal with in the planning of the event. Thank you to Conor and Esme who couldn't have been more helpful on the night. The students had a great time and loved the mocktails and food. Everything ran very smoothly and the students had a ball. We will be back! (The Drama Studio, Edinburgh)

The Counting House is a very special venue to hold events. We recently held our Summer Quiz there and it was a night to remember! The venue itself is beautiful but in particular Brian and the team were amazing. They were so attentive and easy to deal with. We will be back for future events. Thank you!

One of my favourite places in Edinburgh. Brian, Conor and the rest of the team make this one of the best fringe festival venues in August. Brian goes above and beyond for acts and visitors. He is always firm, fair and sometimes charmingly generous. When I've lost money the staff has found it and returned it. Everyone is good fun and good vibes. Love it here
