Bert's Barrow

We got married at Bert’s Barrow in June 2024 and it was absolutely fantastic! The venue is stunning and incredibly versatile – we were able to personalise it to reflect us. From the very beginning, Charlotte and Jason were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were so helpful in bringing our vision to life (the disco ball was a brilliant touch!). They gave us loads of time to decorate, which made the lead-up stress-free and relaxed. On the day, they ran everything like clockwork – we didn’t have to think about a single logistical detail. It all flowed perfectly around us, allowing us to just enjoy the day. The venue itself is a dream: beautiful fields filled with flowers for photos, plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine, and great indoor areas just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. We loved how much personality we could inject into the day – and Charlotte and Jason had loads of fun, creative ideas to elevate the experience. One of our favourites was the band making a surprise grand entrance and leading everyone into the hidden party room! Transport back to Leeds was easy to organise for guests too, which made the day even smoother. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s beautiful, flexible, and fun – we couldn’t recommend Bert’s Barrow enough!!

We had our wedding at Bert's Barrow last year, and it was truly the most magical experience. From the moment we first saw the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our big day. We got married on the lawn in the sunshine with the beautiful view, ate in the corn store with the gorgeous fairy light wall backdrop, and partied in the bunting barn with a band and dance floor. The separate barns work so well for that reason and the setting is stunning. Charlotte and Jason are the loveliest, most accommodating and hardworking people. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we really did have the best day ever. We went with most of the recommended suppliers which was great as it all worked so seamlessly. We felt completely at ease throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop telling us what a perfect day it was. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to get married. Highly recommend!

Honestly so so pleased we chose to get married at Bert’s. Charlotte & Jason were there from our very first contact for any questions we had. They helped reassure us that we could make our day with them as personal to us as possible and we did just that. The barns are set up so well & I honestly think they speak for themselves. We went with a lot of the trusted suppliers and were so incredibly pleased with them all. We opted for the tractor travel to the photo spots in the wild flowers and this was such a fun part of the day. There were also sunflowers at our wedding in mid-August and we got some incredible photos there too, especially evening shots. They have the space available to hire pretty much anything you want, so we hired a rodeo bull as a surprise for the guests! We can’t thank Charlotte & Jason enough for their amazing space and all their support ❤️

Amazing place , lots of pumpkins to choose from !! Plenty for kids to do / see Brilliant wedding venue too , highly recommend 🙂

As a wedding photographer this venue is absolutely outstanding. A true family run business who care so much about their couples and vendors alike. The staff are brilliant and the venue itself is so stunning. Highly recommend to any couples looking to book their wedding venue. Thank you for having me.
