The Chapter Hall

Myself and my now husband got married here last Wednesday and from start to finish it was amazing! From meeting Liz for the first time she was happy to go along with all our crazy ideas and happy to try everything she could to accommodate it Everything outside of the venue kept going wrong with our wedding and even though it wasn’t anything to do with Liz she made sure to help sort it for us and it was so good to constantly lean on her! Liz is a credit to northern monk and she is worth her weight in gold! I couldn’t have done it without her! The whole team are amazing and the nicest people you will ever meet! The night before we set up and Humphrey was there to assist and nothing was too much for anyone! Honestly I am so sad it is over and we have said we will be back at least once a month to get rid of the wedding blues! Cannot recommend enough! 10/10 immaculate vibes

We had our wedding reception at Chapter Hall and it was such and amazing day! Liz and the Northern Monk team were all super helpful and really flexible so we could have the day exactly as we wanted. We had a Ceilidh in the evening which was really fun in the space too. We had about 90 guests, which filled the room really well. Great venue and would highly recommend :)

We had our wedding at The Chapter Hall and the whole experience was wonderful. They allowed us total flexibility, allowing us to make our wedding completely personal to us. Liz and the team were brilliant in the planning and on the day went completely above and beyond. They even remembered a favourite drink that we mentioned months prior and delivered it to us on the dancefloor! It's a gorgeous venue, and our guests we highly complementary about the setting and how lovely the staff were. I honestly can't say enough about how fantastic the Chapter Hall is. Thank you!

Fantastic venue and wonderful staff.The room is very flexible with ample seating and a plenty of space to stand and chat or even dance. Liz and other staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem to them. Great beers and drink and great washroom on the same floor. Lots of my guests commented on how nice it was and l think they will be adding it to their list of places to frequent. Liz was an excellent event organiser and kept me updated with everything. Had a most enjoyable 60th Birthday celebration.
