The setting is stunning, peaceful, and immaculately cared for, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and relaxed throughout the entire day. What makes Oakwood at Ryther so special is the incredible team. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure everything ran smoothly. We felt completely supported from start to finish. A very special thank you to Trish and Jess, who were outstanding in every way. Their organisation, attention to detail, and reassuring presence made such a difference and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment without worry. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more. The care, professionalism, and warmth shown by the team made the experience truly unforgettable. We cannot recommend Oakwood at Ryther highly enough. It really was the perfect day. 🤍

My Husband and I got married here this year in June. This venue is absolutely stunning. The team are amazing and supportive from booking the venue, up and including the wedding day. Jess and Trish both looked after us which we are so grateful for and Will too. The accommodation is amazing and the grounds are beautiful. All our guests couldn’t stop giving compliments on the venue and its service. Thank you to the whole team for everything.

Every single one has been as stunning as the venue and accommodation itself, and the staff/family go above and beyond to make their high end venue, truly warm and welcoming. As a husband and wife wedding photography team, we recently had the opportunity to work at The Oakwood at Ryther. We were so impressed with what the venue had to offer our couple (Katrina and Sam). The staff particularly stood out as extremely friendly and very professional. Everything ran smoothly on the day, allowing us to focus on capturing moments without any distractions. We highly recommend this stunning venue to any couple looking for a beautiful and seamless wedding experience. We can't wait to be back there working again!

Where to begin on just how perfect our big day was here! I had the most amazing time celebrating our wedding at Oakwood, I want to do it all over again! First of all my coordinators Emily and Jess were absolutely wonderful and made my day so special! I didn’t feel any stress at all, they completely looked after me and my husband throughout my day. They made my planning so easy, answering any questions I had prior and made sure the day ran smoothly and I genuinely felt their excitement for me. The venue is gorgeous and all my guests kept reminding me so. The hall where our ceremony had such a warm feel to it with the fairy light drop, it doesn’t even need any extra decorations but still plenty of room if you do want more. We knew when we first saw it and the whalebone arches that this was the one for us! I will never forget seeing my husband at the end of the aisle in front of those lights waiting for me 🥰 The accommodation was amazing too, I love how every room was different and had a lot of fun assigning them to my guests. The huge kitchen island was the perfect space for our closest family and bridesmaids/groomsmen to hang out the night before our wedding and enjoy a meal before the big day. Having the accommodation so close too meant I didn’t need to worry about travelling to and from venues as well, and also didn’t have to worry about keeping any items on me or worrying which friend had my things, I could just pop over to my room to touch up make up or take a 10 minute break away from the day! The reception hall was stunning too with the draped ceilings and chandeliers, plenty of space for tables and dancing, and having the mezzanine upstairs too meant guests could take a little break themselves without coming away from the event. The lighting was perfect too, it created the best ambience for dancing but also if you wanted to sit down and chat to other guests. I cannot express how perfect this venue was for us, plenty of space for outdoor photos too even though it was raining, the pergola meant we could do a few group photos too. There is a large free car park available for guests. We got invited to an event too to choose our wines and got the chance to stay in the accommodation, which meant we got to see it again and get excited all over again before our big day. Overall our experience with Oakwood at Ryther was so much more than I imagined for us, I am so happy with how our day went all thanks to you, we want to go back and do it all over again! Thankyou!
