Clissold House

I photographed a wedding at Clissold House last September and it was such a beautiful place to work. The venue itself is elegant and full of character, with lovely light throughout, and the surrounding park is perfect for relaxed couple portraits and guest photos. Even on a busy wedding day, everything flowed smoothly and there were plenty of quiet spots for intimate moments. The venue works brilliantly for weddings that feel classic but not stuffy, and it photographs beautifully in all directions — indoors and out. A great choice for couples looking for a London venue with charm, greenery, and a calm atmosphere.

I photographed Ellie and Michael’s wedding at Clissold House and it’s an outstanding venue – elegant Georgian architecture, beautiful natural light, and set right in the middle of Clissold Park. It feels calm and intimate, yet still very much a London wedding. The ceremony space upstairs has great views and soft, flattering light – ideal for a documentary-style approach. Everything flows in one place, so couples can stay present with their guests without constantly moving around. Clissold House really suits a relaxed, natural approach to photography. The atmosphere lends itself to capturing real, unposed moments – from quiet glances during the ceremony to guests laughing on the lawn – without needing to step in or stage anything.

Wow what a pleasure to photograph a wedding at Clissold House for Maud + Michael. An incredible historied building, beautifully decorated and set in a wonderful green space in North London. I photographed a beautiful, intimate Wedding at Clissold house. The team were so accommodating to me and the couple had a really joyful afternoon in the space. There are so many locations for photographs, you are quite spoilt for choice. I can't wait to come back in the future.

We photographed a wedding here last year and it's a total gem in North London – elegant without being stuffy. We loved how the light poured through the windows, and the mix of historic architecture and modern touches worked beautifully for a wedding day. Also, the park just outside is lush for couple portraits!
