We had our Xmas wedding here absolutely fantastic venue.beautiful decorations.we had a santa clause for the kids and the redfords band. All the staff were so brilliant thank you all so much. Nothing was a problem at all. Huge thank you to becks and on the day holly was fantastic. The day went magical for us. Top class food absolutely couldn't fault it at all. We had the most incredible wedding day at Cooling Castle Barn and cannot thank the team enough for making it absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived to drop off our items the day before, we felt completely at ease — everything was handled with such professionalism and care. A special thank you goes to our amazing coordinator, Holly. She was simply phenomenal. Her calm, thoughtful, and attentive approach meant that any little worries we had disappeared instantly. She handled everything behind the scenes so smoothly — from arranging for the registrar and celebrant to meet me downstairs (so I didn’t have to navigate the steps in my dress!) to making sure my husband and I had a quiet moment together after the ceremony. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and we were blown away by how much she did for us. All of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was, and we couldn’t agree more. Cooling Castle Barn was everything we dreamed of and more — it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you again to Holly and the entire team for helping us create the most beautiful memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Perfect, if you're on the fence just book it, they are amazing. Just want to start by saying a massive thank you to Cooling Castle Barn and all of the staff (especially Becky) for a perfect wedding, we had an amazing time. From the beginning they were just on it, with every little question I had, which when you're stressing about getting married is exactly what you need! They were super responsive and really made us feel like they had everything under control, they covered every base and made sure the day ran smoothly and was personalized to exactly what we wanted. The barns themselves are really beautiful, and we were lucky enough to have the Christmas decorations up, which were really tasteful and not too over the top (which is something we were concerned about). The whole day ran so smoothly, they took great care to ensure we were both happy, in the right place at the right time but yet didn’t bother us too much and let us enjoy the moment. We both really felt like they had everything under control, to the point where we could just relax and trust the process. The food was lovely, both the sit down meal and the buffet, and the main barn looked amazing with all the decorations. We had a band playing and then the DJ, and the music was brilliant, perfectly loud enough and sounded great. The rooms were lovely too, and I heard no complaints for any of our guests staying overnight. It’s difficult to sum up a whole day into one review, but essentially just book here, they are amazing and you really don’t have to worry about anything, thank you Cooling Castle Barns!

We have visited Cooling Castle several times now and we booked our wedding here over 2 years ago. We have done our food tasting which was first class, we have been back and finalised all of our needs for our special day in July 2025. They have set up a portal for us which is so helpful and it allows you to make your plans so much easier. We cant recommend this wedding venue enough, service, quality, reliability, helpful and cost effective all under one roof, it’s a one stop shop and they help with suppliers and put your mind at ease. Updated July 12th 2025, Well what can we say other than fantastic, the venue and the staff far outweighed our expectations. The two days went absolutely perfect without any problems whatsoever. Lucy, Hollie and the team made everything so simple, the toast master Steve just brilliant. The weather just complimented the day and allowed us to have our ceremony outside as planned, the food in the daytime and evening was spot on and the breakfast the next day was also very good. 100% recommended, don’t delay book today, you need to prepare at least 2 years in advance, this venue caters for everything under one roof without any hidden extras and the portal system that they set up for you really helps a smooth transition. The surroundings and settings are great for your photos and videos, if you want your ceremony outside you must book that which allows you inside automatically if the weather was bad on the day, you can’t book the inside and go outside automatically if the weather is good. There are no words that can describe how amazing this venue is! From the first time we stepped on the grounds for the open day, to leaving the venue on the day after our wedding, we have been utterly blown away! Every single member of staff we have come in to contact with have been amazing! The food on the day was utterly amazing, it's very hard to cater for 80 people anyway and still serve good quality food, but they smashed it. The chicken was delicious and I wish we could come back for dinner haha! We probably had the worst weather for October so far, but it didn't ruin our day. This is the best wet weather venue you could book! Having everything on one site makes it so much easier and the team ensured I got from the getting ready room to the ceremony without being taken out by storm Amy! We booked a band for the evening separate to Cooling, and they were incredible. The only constructive thing I would say regarding music is that the DJ is a little quiet compared to the band, but understand there is sound limiter requirements and this didn't tarnish the experience in any way, shape or form. BOOK THIS VENUE!! They are worth every single penny and you won't find any better in the area! The venue is stunning and you will not regret it!
