Crypt on the Green

We held a trade wine tasting here for around 100 people. The venue is perfect - atmospheric but also easy adapt and make in to your own space. It's a great location and was praised by our customers and suppliers. The addition of the separate room for break-out or lunch is very useful. The staff were helpful and welcoming and we would highly recommend it for either personal or professional events.

We hosted our wedding at The Crypt, and had the most amazing time. The venue itself is so centrally located, near farringdon making it accessible to all guests travelling from within/out of London. The venue itself is beautiful, especially when lit up in the evening. The lights look amazing, and the brickwork really adds character to the special occasion. The staff were very helpful, and we even had our own staff member Martin to help on the day encase of any technical issues. The kitchen is plenty big - we easily catered for 140 guests + staff. There is plenty of seating space, and we cleared tables to make room for ample space on the dance floor. The venue itself is only licensed till 11pm, and therefore events ideally should finish around 10pm to allow enough time to clear away properly - therefore you may want to consider hiring a bar/pub for after The Crypt closes which is what we did. (photos tba). All our guests commented on how amazing the venue looked. We even used the outdoor space for hosting our reception outside. There is a small alleyway outside for guests that want to go outside to smoke. I would 100% use this venue again, very reasonably priced for the quality.

The Crypt as a venue was brilliant for our wedding. It looked beautiful and was a great size for around 100 people to eat and celebrate. The team were very organised and no slick operations on set up and pack down.

I attended an education event here recently - nice venue, looks like it's a versatile venue in terms of what goes on there.

The Crypt on the Green is a gem of a party venue in the heart of Clerkenwell and I am very glad to have chosen it for my special birthday celebration. Many thanks to all the staff at the Crypt for their kindness, helpfulness and efficiency. We'll be back!
