High House Weddings

A trip down to this venue for an all day wedding! Amazing place! Traditional wedding barn combined with newly built function halls and beautiful gardens! The day went like clockwork! The sun coming out helped! Staff were very well dressed and very efficient! The canapés and wedding meal were very good and service was top class! I can't review the drink prices as our very generous hosts paid for the drinks package!( mind you the red wine and blush were very drinkable) We danced till 11.30pm and had a wonderful time! I would certainly recommend this venue!

The whole team from start to finish was so helpful, reassuring and nothing felt too much! We had Ella in our first initial meeting who made us feel at ease and like we was in safe hands! From our second meeting onwards we had Jessica who was a great help and was our event planner on the day. We cant thank Jessica enough for all her help on the day and the lead up. The whole team at High House was amazing during the 2 years from booking to the wedding day. The food tasting event is one of our favourite 'date nights' to date! was so much fun and the food and drink was flowing. Our day ran so smoothly and we have had nothing but compliments back from all our guests, the orangery and the stable bar are great additions and we couldn't be happier with how our day went. Wow wow where do I start with this venue! We fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the entrance at our first viewing, and we’re so excited at the prospect of the Orangery. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the fact that the bridal suite, family’s accommodation and our honeymoon suite were all onsite just made for the perfect experience. Not only were we in love with the venue but as we started planning we realised that with the perfect venue came the most amazing staff! From start to finish, the girls especially our planner Stevie were nothing other than extraordinary. Nothing was ever too much to ask, they were always so punctual in replying to our questions and on the actual day itself they knew exactly how to run things so that timing and the whole day was just flawless. Also, the food, from the food tasting to picking what we wanted and to any dietary requirements, the chef clearly knows what he was doing as it was delicious. There was such a variety to choose from for all requirements as well. To summarise, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I would urge anyone to book this place as it really was a fairytale!! Thank you so much High House and all the staff that work there for making our wedding day dreams come true :)

We got married here on the 25th May 2025. High house is a beautiful venue and you fall in love with the place as soon as you walk onto the grounds. We were lucky enough that we got to use their brand new Orangery which has panoramic views of the lake and looks amazing day and night. We loved the way there was a dedicated space for the bride to get ready, accommodation for up to 27 people including the bride and groom in the cute couples retreat room. We had a tasting session at their sister venue Copdock Hall where we got to try the majority of the menu and drink and was such a romantic date night. Throughout the process we had Ella as our events planner. She could not have done enough for us before and during the wedding and was really great with our kids. She made us feel relaxed and took our mind off of the day so we could truly enjoy ourselves. I feel the price was very reasonable for the venue compared to other equal competitors and would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married.

High House is the perfect place to get married! The staff are all so lovely and helpful! Our event manager was Ella and she made us feel completely at ease and was always on hand to answer any questions we had, her calm nature and excellent organisation was very much appreciated. The team on the day made sure that everything was perfect for us and made the place look amazing. We cannot recommend High House enough, the barn and orangery are beautiful and all of ours guests were saying how amazing the venue was and how lovely the staff were. Absolutely everyone loved the food and kept mentioning throughout the day how nice it was - it was all delicious! On the lead up to the day, the communications with the team made it feel so smooth and easy - they truly did take away any nerves that we had. We had an amazing tasting evening too which is such a nice touch! The DJ Daren was excellent and was able to fit in lots of different genres, nothing was off limits and we had such a good evening with lots of dancing! We had a fantastic day and that was achievable due to the amazing team at High House x
