It is a mix of likes and dislikes at this hotel. While there are some genuinely excellent staff members, there are also a small number whose behaviour was extremely disappointing. The hotel’s exterior and public spaces are beautifully designed and impressive. However, the guestroom interiors are a major letdown and feel more like a motel than a luxury hotel. The carpets were dirty and appeared mouldy, the rooms felt cramped, and there is a stark contrast between the grandeur of the lobby and the condition of the bedrooms. The bathroom itself was attractive, but the bedroom door did not feel secure, which was concerning. Breakfast was decent, but the selection did not change during the stay. Unfortunately, the receptionist at the breakfast area was particularly unpleasant. She rolled her eyes, clicked her tongue, and raised her voice at me when I tried to enter. Her attitude was highly unprofessional and made the experience uncomfortable. In contrast, the staff at the main entrance, bell desk, and reception were warm and helpful. However, when I contacted the front desk after realising I had left my charger in the room (which had not yet been reoccupied), the response was careless and dismissive. The staff member simply repeated that they “could not find it” and continued with her work without any effort to assist further or show concern. The location of the hotel is superb, with many tourist attractions within a comfortable 20–30 minute walk. Overall, a beautiful hotel on the outside, but ugly on the inside

I had my birthday drinks at the Fitz bar. It is an ambient cute place with dimmed lights. Perfect for a date. Lovely staff too. I just didn't like the house music - something more classy would have elevated the atmosphere. The music feels cold in comparison to the warmth of the decor.

Great location with cafes, markets and touristic spots around. The underground is 1 minute away. Very professional staff with very helpful and friendly attitude. They solved my problem in minutes. The room was clean, has everything needed including an iron and umbrella to borrow. Hotel even offers you free bikes. The NY decoration was stunning! Definitely would prefer again. Thank you.

Absolutely stunning hotel. The vibes feel like stepping into Dracula’s castle .. dark, vintage, and fascinating .. yet everything functions in a modern way. The design details are impressive and thoughtfully done. Some of the staff were incredibly charming, very British looking, and honestly fit the whole aesthetic perfectly… a lovely bonus that elevates the experience. Would 100% stay again.
