I photographed a wedding at Pembroke Lodge in July 2025 and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional and very helpful throughout the day, which made everything run smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful and set in a truly stunning location within Richmond Park. It’s perfect for couples who want to be surrounded by nature while still being easily accessible from London. The rose gardens are a highlight and are ideal for golden hour photos, absolutely gorgeous light and scenery!! I would highly recommend Pembroke Lodge to couples looking for a beautiful, well-run venue in a natural setting.
Totally delicious lunch (not at posh nosh costs!) in such a beautiful setting. Two weddings were discreetly taking place in the Lodge whilst we ate, all of us taking advantage of the colourful autumn garden. After eating, we walked to the nearby lake, deer- and bird-spotting. Definitely heading back for another Sunday brunch...
This lovely little café sits in a beautiful period building with a surprisingly varied menu: proper coffee & tea, homemade cakes, sandwiches, and even hot mains. Prices are very fair for the location and quality. You can sit inside (cosy, characterful) or outside on the terrace with spectacular panoramic views across Richmond and the Thames Valley — on a clear day you can even see St Paul’s from Henry’s Mound nearby.Practical notes Gets busy on weekends & holidays (limited seating, so arrive early or be prepared to wait) Watch your food outside — the birds are bold! Car park right outside, but fills up fast in peak season; accessible spaces available Fully wheelchair-friendly café, toilets, and gorgeous landscaped gardens to explore One of the nicest spots in Richmond for a relaxed coffee, cake, or light lunch with a million-dollar view. Combine it with a stroll through the gardens and Henry’s Mound for a perfect half-day out. Highly recommended — just beat the weekend crowds if you can! instagram @hungrysplash
It was hard to say with words, calm and peaceful in the morning. Antique, elegance and so nice to be there. Scorn was delicious as well.
Such a cute place. Food was a bit pricey but fine. View were really nice and worth it
