What a wonderful day we had. We can’t thank Benoit and The Crypt team enough. We have received so many comments from our guests both on the day and since complementing the chef for the amazing food snd the service of the staff, all of which was outstanding. The venue itself is so beautiful, steeped in history so simplicity was our goal and Benoit and the team could not have been more accommodating in assisting us to achieve this. We hired the road so our elderly guests could park which made a huge difference and having the whole day at one venue was fantastic. We had the best day and from the comments so did our guests. We highly recommend The Crypt & the team if you want the best day of your lives. Thanks again.

We had the absolute pleasure of decorating a church that is over 800 years old, as well as the beautiful reception venue. The entire experience was nothing short of magical, with the history of the location adding so much character to the event. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the process smooth and enjoyable. It’s a truly wonderful place, perfect for creating unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time celebrating our wedding at The Crypt. It was everything we were looking for in a venue: an incredibly beautiful and historic setting, amazing food & wine, and brilliant 5-star service. We had so many compliments from guests during and after our day (and people still talk about the gorgeous food!) During the planning, the team were so accommodating and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a clear vision for how we wanted everything to look... I guess you could say we were on the more demanding end of the scale 😂 but this did not phase them at all. The team took everything in their stride: They always quickly answered all our (many) queries, were super accommodating for guest allergies and dietary needs, let us drop in and see the venue with our suppliers during planning, and were so incredibly flexible with how we were able use the space - and even how the food service was run (I told you we were demanding!) On the day, the Crypt looked fantastic and the team made sure everything was perfect. Thank you so much, Benoit and the Crypt team, we couldn’t be happier... we just wish we could do it all over again!

I just held my wedding reception here (October 2019) and can honestly say it was fantastic. The room is gorgeous, the catering staff very professional and attentive. We predominantly worked with a gentleman called Benoit for our evening who was brilliant. From meeting him to the evening itself we knew we were in good hands. I would recommend this place hands down for a unique party and the professional service they provide.

What a special venue! We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and feel very lucky we found this gem! From the setting to the service, everything went entirely smoothly. The venue speaks for itself - a medieval, beautiful, spacious crypt. We had around 80 guests and it was a perfect number. The food was of an extremely high standard. Our guests couldn't stop praising it. Benoit and his team offered the most professional service - to be honest, it's almost all too good to be true considering how reasonably priced the package is. Amazing venue, amazing food, amazing wine, amazing champagne, amazing service.
