The Grange Country House Northwood

Wow, where do we even begin, we had our wedding at the Grange Country House on 11.10.2025 and the day was everything we could have possibly imagined and more. Chris and Joanne especially were so amazing and their staff team were incredible throughout the entire day, nothing was too much and they did everything to ensure our day was as special as possible. They added to our day and felt more like our guests than staff. The grounds are beautiful and our guests could not stop complimenting the venue and the food. This is an amazing hidden gem in Northwood and we are so grateful and lucky to have shared our day with them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we wish we could do it all over again. We hosted my 60th Birthday celebrations at The Grange in December 2025 and can highly recommend the venue. The support we had from Chris and his team, both in preparation for the party and on the night itself, was excellent. The food and bar service on the night was great and we are very pleased that we chose The Grange.

It’s quite hard to put into words our experience and to really explain how perfect they are as a wedding venue. Chris and Jo were so helpful and trustworthy throughout the whole process. They made sure we knew what was happening and when and answered any question we had - be it little or small. The food was incredible and EVERY guest commented on how amazing it was and with such large portions. The staff on the day were very friendly and approachable for all guests. Niamh was mentioned a few times by various guests as being very friendly and a great staff member. If you are looking for amazing shots, a calm day and a seamless day, I could not recommend them more!

We had our work Christmas party here at the Grange. The setting is lovely and the staff were all lovely and helpful on the day. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. The starter of fried Brie was cold, the main turkey was nice and sides and accompaniments were particular nice but the dessert of sticky toffee pudding was like a school sponge covered in toffee sauce with no custard or ice cream. One person with food allergies/intolerances we had asked in advance for a plate of fruit as pudding and nothing had been arranged or provided. The DJ played music only he wanted to and refused to take requests. I’m afraid because of the food and DJ we will not book in the future.

Chris & his staff at The Grange Country House were so accommodating, professional, friendly, respectful and supportive. I would highly recommend others to get married here. We had the most perfect wedding day and nothing was too much for them. We are over the moon we got married here! Thank you for everything. Kelly & Jack.
