Eaves Hall was the 10th venue we looked at and we’re so grateful we chose it! We initially wanted a venue in The Lakes but so many boast a beautiful outside but a smaller inside (not ideal for rain) or have it all but break the bank! We then looked at the James Place venues including Falcon Manor, Mitton Hall, Eaves Hall and the new Wennington Hall but went with Eaves Hall because of being happy if the day was inside, outside or (as it was) a mix of both. The grounds are beautiful and established, making it perfect for photos and lawn games. The food was even better than on the taster days, all the guests agreed! The venue having bedrooms is also great as guests were able to stumble upstairs with no faff for taxis. Finally, the staff were amazing, from the caterers to bar staff and organisers. We started our journey with wedding coordinator Nathan but ended it with Lesley Ann - both a huge credit to the company. We couldn’t imagine our day without the amazing Lesley Ann, she was there the entire wedding day to help no matter how big or small and then first thing the next day as well. We even had a large group meal at the sister pub the Waddington Arms the night before which was exceptional in terms of food and staff too. Thanks to all involved on making our day so special x
Went for a wedding. Lovely and looks very magical the grounds are amazing.
Eaves Hall is a stunning venue with beautiful grounds and elegant interiors. The staff are friendly and professional, making everything run smoothly. A perfect place for a romantic, stress-free celebration!
We was recently at a wedding at eaves hall and had the honour of doing a brides hair in the cottages that are at the venue. The cottages are absolutely stunning and big enough spaces for everyone getting hair and make up done without feeling cramped . The wedding was outside and the lady in charge was very helpful and lovely to have around. The set up for the wedding, staff and the venue was great and all seemed to run nice and smoothly. Let's not forget about the food, I've been to a few weddings and have to say the food here was one of the best I've had with big portion sizes as well. I've I wasn't already married I would of booked here in a heartbeat .
My husband and I saw Eaves Hall on a photographer's page and knew from that moment that we needed to visit as we were searching for wedding venues at the time. We arranged a visit to see Maddison, our most frequent contact from the very first meeting until the wedding day itself, and throughout that time she was constantly supportive and helpful. We also had help from Nathan and Emily, two other event coordinators at the venue, and both were as equally excellent. Side note: I want to thank both Maddison and Nathan personally for keeping me (bride) as calm as possible, despite me having asked at least a thousand questions via email between them! When we arrived at the venue the first time, I knew in my gut that it was the perfect choice. We had intended on having an autumnal theme, so not only were the grounds perfect but the venue itself was magnificent and magical, stately and serene, just everything we were looking for in one place. Even better, the total price was very competitive, considering another wedding venue we had considered (30 minutes from this one) was charging almost the same for the use of the venue ONLY. My husband and I, along with my parents, booked in for a taster evening to try out the food and wine we were thinking of having on the day (Supreme menu) and sure enough, everything was utterly delicious - at the taster evening AND on the day itself. The day prior to the wedding, we dropped off some of the decor for the ceremony along with an embarrassingly detailed document showing the seating arrangements for our guests and decor placement. I'm thankful to anyone who came across this for not thinking I'm ridiculous, particularly Nathan who listened ardently to everything I asked. After Adam had left, my bridesmaids and I received our keys to the lodge, wherein we stayed that evening and had a wonderful time eating pizza and sweets and watching rom-coms. The lodge itself is beautifully designed inside, in keeping with the design of the interior rooms of the main hall, and with incredibly comfortable beds too. Everything (other than food and cold drinks) is provided for you! Tip for anyone staying in the lodge - in the colder months, bring layers to wear while it heats up inside, it takes a while! On the morning of the wedding we stayed until 11am and, after my bridesmaids had their hair/makeup done, we moved up to the Kemple/Bridal Suite where they had some time to relax while I got ready. There were some glasses of refreshing elderflower fizz waiting there for us - delicious! I will admit, leaving everything in the hands of the staff and florist did make me very anxious leading up to the day as I'm usually my own planner, but I was so unusually calm that morning, and I was right to have been! Most of our day was in the Dining Room and we couldn't have been more blown away by every little detail in there. Every single moment of the day was enveloped in perfect autumn magic. Side note: Thank you to our toastmaster Tom who made sure everything was spot on for us throughout the day! That night, we had a lovely sleep (albeit a short one as we went to bed around 3am) in the beautifully soft marshmallow bed of the Pendle Suite, which we picked as the romantic balcony was one of the highlights of the venue for us. This was even better in the morning as we saw the sun rise and could wave to guests who were heading home in the early hours. Breakfast was delicious too, and we finally left the venue very full and very happy around 11am. Thank you to the kitchen staff for wrapping our remaining pieces of cake and desserts too! To sum up: If you're looking for a beautiful venue situated in fabulous surroundings with an excellent team of staff to propel you through your special event, look no further. You've found the best one. Wishing the entire team all the best and every success for the future! (NOTE: Any use of the below photos requires credit to the photographers, Evans & Evans Photography.
