Merrydale Manor Wedding Venue

We attended one of the opening evenings at Merrydale in January 2024 and knew instantly it was the place for us. It was the first and only venue we visited. Be booked it the very next day. In the run up to the wedding all the staff were so approachable and helpful at answering all our queries… Robyn, Nikita and Georgia are just a few to name. We absolutely loved each and every visit to Merrydale, from looking around all the rooms at the open days to attending our initial and final meetings in the office. We got married at Merrydale in October 2025 and despite the British weather, our day was perfect! Everything ran like clockwork thanks to our coordinators, Sam and Margaret. From moving us to and from the pods, make-up suite, cave, ceremony room, etc, to making sure all our belongings showed up in the right place. Everything was seamless. I had zero c worries on the day as I knew everything was in hand. We went for very minimal decor in the ceremony room and Merrydale suite as they speak for themselves. The whole venue and grounds are absolutely stunning. And a big thank you to our toastmaster, Neil. He really helped settle our nerves and was great at making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. He even made sure we took a few minute for ourselves after the ceremony, as they day can be very overwhelming. We are so pleased we chose Merrydale as our wedding venue. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat. We really hope this wasn’t our last time driving up the beautiful driveway to the manor. It is such a special place! Would 100% recommend!

Base on the wedding venue 5/5 everything was perfect however if guests are staying overnight at venue a few pointers for improvements 1.no one gave instructions or guidance in finding and using the room’s facilities, only the room name and number was given 2 lack of basic necessities such as kettle 3 sound proofing between rooms

I absolutely love photographing weddings at Merrydale Manor - I am fortunate enough to visit this beautiful venue several times a year, and its easy to see why its such a desirable venue for so many of my couples. Absolutely beautiful surroundings in every direction, the spectacular manor itself, purpose-built prep suites, the ceremony room, the ballroom…it has everything you could possibly want and need for the perfect wedding day. Where do we start??? If you’re looking to get married this is the one!! Only venue we viewed as we fell in love with it straight away and had it booked before we left! The location, the grounds, the manor and its surroundings are perfect! From the day of booking the staff have been unbelievable , nothing was too much for them, they are all very polite and friendly, happy to help with any query! Our guests had no faults and loved how organised and well run the day was, Like clockwork! We can’t thank Merrydale enough for creating the perfect wedding day! We wish we could do it all over again!
