Sandhole Oak Barn

Wow! What can we say… this venue is stunning and as soon as we came to the open event we knew straight away this was the place we wanted to get married. The view of the lake and being able to get married under the clock tower outside with the lake behind us was the dream. The staff were outstanding and made sure we were welcomed and showed around. They answered any questions we had and were even helpful and responded quickly with any queries we had once we had booked. All our guests were blown away. Even the accommodation didn’t disappoint and our guests were well looked after. Thank you to Sandhole and the team for making our wedding day everything and more.

Sandhole Oak Barn is the most magical and spectacular place for your wedding. The staff are amazing, always on hand with any questions you may have about the big day. They know how much it means to you and they make sure you are reassured and relaxed ready for a smooth day. They get to know you as a couple and have amazing views. We loved it so much, we visited in all weather's before our big day. The venue is incredible and so are the staff. We would love to do it all over again. Love the McEwans xx

Beautiful venue, amazing views and friendly staff. We felt very looked after at all times. The accommodation was very clean and had everything you could ask for (extra blankets, pillows, a hair dryer and so on). The breakfast was very nice and we made sure to wake up early to walk around the grounds as it was breathtaking.

We loved performing at Sandhole Oak Barn for an evening celebration - this venue is an absolute gem. The beautiful barn, surrounded by serene countryside, creates a peaceful yet charming atmosphere, blending rustic elegance with a touch of warmth. The venue is flooded with natural light, making everything feel airy and inviting. As the evening unfolded, the energy was electric, with guests dancing the night away. The team here was exceptional, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you’re looking for a venue that adds a little extra magic to your special day, Sandhole Oak Barn is it. 10/10, and we can’t wait to return! *** it’s worth noting that this venue has a sound limiter which can dictate the style/level of evening entertainment. Luckily, we didn’t have any problems, but it can be an issue, especially with a drum kit.

Excellent wedding venue. Wonderful interiors. Bar and food staff were very efficient. Prices at the bar very reasonable for a wedding venue.
